Are you living your life cautiously, or are you happily taking risks?
“There was a very cautious man
Who never laughed or played
He never risked, he never tried,
He never sang or prayed.
And when he one day passed away,
His insurance was denied,
For, since he never really lived,
They claimed he never really died." ~ Anonymous
Comparable to the man in the above poem, many are sometimes too cautious or precautious, and do not take chances; consequently, numerous opportunities pass them by.
Many times, one is introduced to opportunities; be it selling a product or service, which one knows without a doubt, that he or she can become successful and, this will subsequently, make living easier; and for some reason, one never look at, or at times, overlook, yet another opportunity.
Opportunities are a lot like the lottery; ‘you have to be in it to win it’...
I do take chances, maybe too many; but I don’t want to have to say ‘had I known'...
"Action is a great restorer and builder of confidence. Inaction is not only the result, but the cause, of fear. Perhaps the action you take will be successful; perhaps different action or adjustments will have to follow. But any action is better than no action at all." ~ Norman Vincent Peale
Let us live our lives, and write the obituary we want others to see, when we depart this life…
To living a joyous and fulfilled life!
